Power shifted from west to East with the passage of time as China , Russia and India are also qualified in all fields related to automobiles, war equipment’s and information technologies they are solving their problems by themselves they built all these things and become self-sufficient. By adapting all these measures they are not now dependent on west and they also save a lot amount of money and improve their people’s standards of life.
China, Russia, and India’s self-sufficiency marks Asia’s reduced dependence on Western powers.
The post-Cold War era has now ended in Asia, and China and Russia have built good relations with each other. They cooperate and they start trade between the two countries, and also become members of BRIC, which is being used to increase trade within the Asian countries and save a lot of expenditure on transportation, and they are also not dependent upon Western Countries
Security issues are also solved by the Asian countries, they are not spending money on war equipment. They are cooperating, as they have also now become member of the BRIC organization. China is now becoming an emerging power, so the Middle East and South Asia have now less dependence on the West and the USA. To remain relevant, Europe must need to astound its own institutional capabilities shortfalls and must need to learn to operate in a world where power politics should be at the forefront.
European countries have a limited population as each sovereign countries they made military alliances so that they can defend their countries. They also use one currency and trade within Europe. Without any strong coordination mechanism, Europe remained slow and uneven
European member states have different priorities. Moreover, they have different languages in their countries. Eastern Europe’s priorities are territorial defense, as they have a sufficient population which are trained and qualified against any foreign attack. They are not bothered to include themselves in any security engagement. South Europeans are worried about their maritime security and feel dependent on their security. France and the UK are big superpowers power they are not worried about their security as they have sufficient warheads, marines, and fighter jets for their defense. These two countries are also an umbrella for the Western countries.
Europe faces strategic and institutional weaknesses while striving for unity and global relevance post-Brexit.
The European countries have good values and a good culture. They always have strict policies and laws for the benefit of their people. People are living in a nice lifestyle, they are democratic, which means that they bear the differences and make arguments where necessary in their support. The population is living a peaceful life. But these values are not aligned with the existing realities of life.
Europe has many abilities, but it always has persistent shortages. Europe always gets guides from the USA for their security purposes as well as trade, though they have all types of potential, as the population of Europe is well educated and skilled. They must rely upon themselves and develop in those fields where they are dependent upon the U.S.A.
When talking about Brexit, which has removed a veto player but it also represents the loss of one-sixth of the European Union’s GDP and its military power. If talking about political terms the Brexit has stimulated the unity of the European Union, and it has also further strengthened the strategic autonomy of the EU. In the long term, we can observe that the United Kingdom and the European Union Cooperation on the strategic level is likely to continue because they have shared strategic threats such as China and Russia.
A stronger, more unified Europe would not only safeguard its own interests but also stabilize the multipolar system. Europe could Unified Stronger Europe will not only be able to safeguard its interests, but it will also be able to stabilize the multipolar system. Europe could act as the counterweight to the United States dominance not only dealing with this but could also soften the perception of the Western aggression, could also promote the regional cooperation and could create more space for the region to region dialogues, could be able to strengthen the global institutions that are responsible to hold the international norms, could also inspire the trust among those actors who are not western by being seen itself as the most trustworthy, neutral and also multilateral player.
A stronger, autonomous Europe could stabilize multipolarity and promote balanced global cooperation.
We can observe through the past historical experiences as well that the compromises and their diversities further make it well-suited to develop a pluralistic global order that could be built according to the necessary capabilities.
When observing Europe in detail, we can observe that Europe is still not fully prepared in order to thrive for competing with a multipolar world. It still has its own strategic disagreements as well as institutional weakness and the lack of capabilities, which prevent it from taking these issues on the global level. However, there is still hope as initiatives like the Global Strategy renewed European Union unity after Brexit, all show that these could bring a positive impact to the momentum towards a stronger Europe.
Built its own stronger and independent institutions, which could bring rapid, collective, impactful actions. Europe needs to invest in coordinated defense capabilities, show balance towards its own commitments to value, with the realities of power politics. Europe must stay humble about its own global influence while also playing a more active role in shaping the international order. If only Europe succeeds, it will not only be able to protect its own interests as well it will also contribute to building a more stable multipolar world, which will be characterized by shared responsibilities and dialogues.
